Kiran is the Global Head - Cloud & Infrastructure at Wipro Limited. Kiran is responsible for driving market share and growth of CIS business across all industries and geographies. Accounting for over 26% of the organization’s revenue, CIS comprises a vast portfolio of solutions and services including next-generation software-defined data centers and hybrid cloud; digital infrastructure and transformation; AIOps and hyper-automation; digital workplace and user-experience services; connected intelligence (IoT); and edge solutions.

Kiran has spearheaded the journey of CIS from a pure-play infrastructure-managed-services service line to a dynamic organization that delivers compelling value propositions built on cutting-edge solutions and robust operations to accelerate customers’ digital transformations. He also conceptualized and implemented a change in the nonlinear delivery framework that led Wipro’s transformational journey in infrastructure management, and has developed a stellar customer base by focusing on customer service quality.

With 30 years of diversified experience in global IT, Kiran has represented Wipro in numerous industry conferences and events. His experience includes P&L management, leading global sales and delivery, and successfully building next-generation digital infrastructure services ecosystems. He is an advisor on the Board of Ensono.

Kiran Desai holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and master’s degree in marketing management from Mumbai University. He lives in Bangalore with his wife and daughter, and is an ardent cricket fan.
