Join Wipro and Estée Lauder Companies in raising support and awareness.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to show our support for individuals who are at risk or whose lives have been affected by breast cancer by educating, advocating and advancing breast cancer research.

This year, Wipro will again join hands with Estée Lauder Companies to mobilize the global technology community on what is known as Tech Day of Pink. In the weeks leading up to Thursday, October 12, 2023, Wipro and Estée Lauder Companies will be hosting learning events, fundraisers and campaigns to build strength and solidarity while sharing valuable resources throughout the community.

Join us in supporting this mission by participation in the events below and sharing your stories using the hashtags #TechInPink2023 and #PinkAtWipro. Every social post will generate funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®, a group dedicated to advancing the world’s most promising research to eradicate breast cancer.

Messages from Wipro Leadership

Wipro leadership stands in solidarity with #TechInPink2023 and pledges to do all they can to support the fight against breast cancer and promote awareness about this disease.

Listen to understand why this cause is so meaningful to them and help spread their message of hope and strength for creating a breast cancer-free world.

A Wipro Podcast with Michael Smith: Leading with Heart

As Wipro observes #BreastCancerAwareness month, in our LeaderSHIFT podcast, we speak to Michael Smith, CIO of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. and the Founder of Tech Day of Pink. In 2017, Michael founded Tech Day of Pink to rally the global technology community in the fight against breast cancer. Today, this is a global movement with millions of participants. It has helped raise awareness about the deadly disease, and funds for cancer research.

Support Cancer Research Through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®

Tech Day of Pink is a way to align the global technology community to generate awareness and raise funds for breast cancer research.

On October 12, we encourage everyone to create social momentum by posting your stories, and participating in events and campaigns using hashtags #TechInPink2023, #TimeToEndBreastCancer and #PinkAtWipro. Every social post helps generate funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. You can also join our efforts to directly fundraise by donating via this link.
